Clean hydrogen to power the sky

No matter where you are on the planet, chances are you’re experiencing weather events that would be considered highly unusual when you were a kid. Climate changes didn’t happen within days, yet the data is compelling and self evident. The amount of data is also overwhelming and confusing, often times rendering people helpless and without a clear course of action that one can take. To get a solid understanding of the issue, read the IPCC Special Report on the global implication of a temperature rise of 1.5 degree Celsius here.

A key lever to fight climate change is to pivot our energy towards clean and renewable sources and applications across sectors. Just how hard is it to move to clean energy? Well, not easy but it doesn’t mean its impossible. Here’s a 15 minute talk I gave during Hong Kong’s Jumpstarter event this spring, with a brief background of climate change and a focus on aviation decarbonization effort, highlighting ZeroAvia. For those who can’t wait, here’s the high level timeline of hydrogen powered airplanes becoming available.
